Eligible candidates are identified as students enrolled in the 7th through 10th grade. However, the primary entry point into our STEMPREP program is at the 7th grade level. Each year, approximately 60 students beginning at 7th grade are accepted. Acceptances are also offered to 8th through 10th grade students each year and is based upon current enrollment and available seats.

Interested applicants must complete the following:
- Online Application
- Career goals essay
- Academic transcript for the past three years
- SSAT scores
Selected students will sit for an interview and are then required to complete a vocational interest blank questionnaire. All of the above criteria are considered before offering an acceptance into the STEMPREP program.
Participation Fee
The full cost to participate in the STEMMPREP Project is $5500 for junior high and senior high school students. After a student is accepted into the training program, a parent(s) can submit their IRS Return to the Financial Aid Committee for consideration of financial aid. The Committee will determine if the family will pay nothing, a partial amount or the full cost of participation. Scholarship assistance is based on the amount of funds raised from foundation grants, federal grants or corporate donations. If no funds are available from these sources, parents will have to pay the full cost of attendance, $5500.
